J. Malcolm Jones, Jr., Board of Managers, Florida

Malcolm Jones is Vice Chairman of the Board, President & CEO of Florida Capital Group, Inc. Previously, he was Owner and Manager of JMJ Capital, a family-owned real estate and investment business.

Joining the Florida Board of Managers in 2007, Mr. Jones brings 15 years’ experience in financial management, investment banking, real estate development, and fiduciary relationships. He also brings a valuable history with Nemours in Jacksonville as a former senior executive at the St. Joe Company, originally founded by the Alfred I. duPont Testamentary Trust, and Florida National Bank, entrusted with developing and managing assets of the early duPont Trust.

Mr. Jones is a member and past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bolles School. He is Chairman of the Trust Committee and member of the Executive Committee of the North Florida Council of Boy Scouts of America.

Mr. Jones holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wofford College, Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Mr. Jones and his wife, Leslie, married for 37 years, have 2 children and 5 grandchildren.
