Kohl's Department Stores is offering Pout-Pout Fish books by Deborah Diesen with 100 percent of the net profit going toward children's health and educational opportunities nationwide, including the Kohl's Healthy Kids Trauma Injury Prevention Program at Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. The books and exclusive plush toys are available now through June 30 at more than 1,000 Kohl's stores nationwide and at Kohls.com.
The Pout-Pout Fish books and plush toys are the newest offering from the Kohl's Cares® cause merchandise program. Since the program's inception in 2000, Kohl's has turned $5 merchandise into more than $231 million to help make a positive difference in the lives of children.
Over the past 7 years, Kohl's Cares® has given more than $764,000 to the Kohl's Healthy Kids Trauma Injury Prevention Program at Nemours/duPont Hospital for Children. The goal of the year-round program is to teach children and their parents/caregivers to prevent injuries.
"Our continued partnership with Kohl's has allowed us to expand our injury prevention program to ensure that we are improving the health of children. Thanks to their generous support, we are able to work together to decrease the incidence of traumatic injuries through community-based child safety programs" said Sean Elwell, Trauma Program Manager, Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children.
