Spina Bifida Program

The Spina Bifida Association of Jacksonville is dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals with spina bifida and their families. From awareness to medical supplies and travel reimbursements, SBAJ serves the greater Jacksonville communities by supporting those who are afflicted with spina bifida.

SBAJ offers an extensive network of doctors, nurses, area parents and medical literature to help with questions about spina bifida. SBAJ pays for some recreational events, camp scholarships and educational programs promoting self-esteem and independence for children and adults with spina bifida. SBAJ partners with other non-profit associations such as the Temporary Loan Closet to provide walkers, wheelchairs and other costly medical necessities.
