Otolaryngology

The Division of Otolaryngology at Nemours Children’s Clinic in Pensacola is staffed by two physicians: one board-certified in pediatric otolaryngology and one board-certified in otolaryngology who specializes in otology surgery.

Also known as ear, nose, and throat (ENT), a physician is available for consultation and treatment of pediatric inpatients and outpatients.

Within the Otolaryngology Clinic, the otology clinic sees patients with chronic otitis media: including severe eustachian tube problems, perforation, and cholesteatoma. Also, all manner of conductive, sensorineural, mixed and newborn deafness is evaluated and therapy recommended. Other medical and surgical problems of the temporal bone,middle ear, and mastoid we see and treat include canal stenosis, various benign and malignant tumors, severe infections and patient needing revision ear surgery.
