When your child is in the hospital, it’s important to understand exactly what’s happening and to be able to ask questions about your child’s health. That’s why we provide Nemours specialists for you at South Jersey Healthcare Regional Medical Center. Our partnership with South Jersey Healthcare provides you with high-quality pediatric specialty care, making around-the-clock neonatal, pediatric, and emergency care available when your children need it.
Nemours Hospitalists are Here for You and Your Child
Communicating directly with your child’s doctor, Nemours hospitalists provide seamless, inpatient care for your child 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They are able to adjust your child’s plan of care as needed and to answer your questions. These special pediatricians are board-certified physicians who are experts in treating hospitalized infants, children and teens.
Nemours’ five pediatric hospitalists at SJH Regional Medical Center provide family-centered care in a dedicated pediatric unit designed to calm children and to ease their stress. Our physicians also see children who use our emergency room.
Newborn Infant Intensive Care
A baby born facing any kind of medical or surgical challenge needs immediate care from a highly skilled team of newborn specialists. The Nemours Neonatology team at South Jersey Regional Medical Center provides this expertise in an environment designed to support the important role parents play in their baby’s care and healing. Nemours neonatologists provide round-the-clock neonatal intensive care in the NICU at South Jersey Healthcare Regional Medical Center. Together, we’re dedicated to offering state-of-the-art care for newborns with a wide variety of medical and surgical conditions.
Nemours Childrens Clinic, Vineland
The renowned cardiology specialists from the Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children - ranked among the best in cardiology and heart surgery specialty care by U.S. News & World Report - are available at the Nemours Children’s Clinic in Vineland. We are located on the hospital campus in the adjacent Medical Office Building. Conditions we treat include chest pain, congenital heart anomaly diagnosis and repair, fainting, fast or irregular heartbeat, heart murmurs, high blood pressure, and more.
Through our partnership, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), nursery, inpatient pediatrics and emergency room patients have convenient access to Nemours’ pediatric specialist consultations in more than 30 disciplines.
