Florida Department of Health works to identify and develop resources to promote the safety and well-being of Florida's children through actions and services to prevent child abuse and the exposure of children to violence.
Florida Department of Children and Families Child Abuse Hotline serves as the central reporting center for allegations of abuse, neglect, and/or exploitation for all children and vulnerable adults in Florida. The Hotline receives calls, faxes, and web-based reports from citizens and professionals with concerns of abuse, neglect, or exploitation on children and vulnerable adults in Florida.
Prevent Child Abuse Florida -The Ounce of Prevention Fund’s Prevention Services unit, also referred to as Prevent Child Abuse Florida (PCA Florida) implements primary prevention activities and advocates for policies and initiatives to strengthen Florida’s families and communities so children can grow and develop through healthy, safe and nurturing experiences.
