Florida Organizations

Florida Quitline – The Florida Tobacco Quit-For-Life Line offers free, confidential, comprehensive telephone counseling to help Floridians quit smoking or chewing tobacco.

Tobacco Free Florida – Under the direction of the Florida Department of Health, the Tobacco Free Florida campaign seeks to decrease the number of tobacco users in the state of Florida through efforts aimed at both preventing nonusers from starting to use tobacco and encouraging current users to quit. 

Tobacco Training and Cessation Program from the Florida AHEC (Area Health Education Centers) Network.

American Lung Association Florida provides information on Medicaid Coverage for Tobacco Cessation aids. 

Tobacco-free Jacksonville is a health initiative to encourage smoking cessation both on an individual level and in the workplace setting by increasing public awareness on the dangers of tobacco usage and preventing the use of all forms of tobacco.

Quit Smoking Now Northeast Florida - Sponsored by the Area Health Education Centers (AHEC)  Network and the State of Florida Department of Health, this six week program provides support, guidance and resources to help people become tobacco free.
