Marguerite Fritsch, BSN, RN and Johanna Muller, BSN, RN won 2nd prize for their poster titled "Family Awareness of the Care Team in the NICU" at the 6th Annual Nursing of Children Network Regional Pediatric Conference in Philadelphia.   

Ruth Lebet RN, MSN, CCNS, Kelly Pruden RN, MSN, CPNP, CCRN, Steven Rawheiser RN, BSN,  &  Barbara Jackson RN, BSN, published  Comparison of Arm and Calf Automatic Noninvasive Blood Pressures in Pediatric Intensive Care Patients in the January, 2010 Journal of Pediatric Nursing. 

Barbara W. Fasick, RNC, MS - presented "Pre-Transport Stabilization of an Infant with Suspected Congenital Heart" at the Pursuing EBP in the NICU 4/23/10  and at the CCRN Review session 4/27/10.

Keith Fishlock, MSN, CPN, CRN, Nurse Clinician, Ambulatory Care, was invited to present, "The Role of the RN in Sedation Provision" at the 5th International Multidisciplinary Conference on Pediatric Sedation. 

Connie Swenson, MSN, RN presented "Turner Syndrome:  Toward Early Recognition and Improved Outcomes" at the May 2010 APN Lecture Series

Joanne Quillen, MSN, RN provided a poster presentation at the Fourth International Nursing Conference on Children and Adolescent Cancer Survivorship Symposium in Williamsburg, VA on Follow up Recommendations Given in the Neuropsychological Evaluations of Child Cancer Survivors. 

Lisa Johnson, MSN RN, CPON,CPN, Allyson Short, BSN RN, CPON, Cerise Evans, BSN RN, CPON, and Candice Creese, BSN RN from 3CN had an abstract poster presentation accepted for APHON:  Active Living or Active Bleeding: Often a Dilemma for Children with Hemophilia.

Shereen Sophy, RN, Nurse Clinician Level IV, presented a poster at the National Society of Pediatric Nursing Conference titled "Family Literacy and Education."

Monica Boyle, BSN, RN and Patricia Melcer, MSN, RN had a poster titled, Perinatal Hypophosphatasia: Challenging Neonatal Nursing Clinical Practice, accepted for presentation at the 10th Anniversary National Neonatal Nurses Conference in Savannah, Georgia on September 13-15, 2010.

Ruthann DeJuliis, RN, BSN, CCRN, Assistant Nurse Manager, had a poster titled, Implementing Best Practice: How to create an environment of evidence based practice, has been selected to be displayed during the Seventh Annual Regional Pediatric Nursing Conference, “Pediatric Nursing on the Move”, to be held on October 25, 2010 at the Chase Center in Wilmington, Delaware.

Connie Trusko, BSN, RN-BC, participated in the Nursing Informatics: From First Use to Meaningful Use Conference at the University of Maryland, School of Nursing on July 24 as a member of the Panel discussing implementation of Nursing Documentation in the EMR. 

Catherine Cheeseman, MSN, RN presented "Pediatric Asthma Update" at the APN Lecture Series.

Norine Watson, MSN, RN presented the Code of Ethics for Nurses to the Nursing Leadership team at St. Francis Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware.   

Shannon Sartin, BSN, RN and Patty Miller, MSN, RN, CCRN had their abstract for a poster presentation titled SWAT Nursing - Nursing on the Move at Nemours accepted for presentation at the seventh Annual Regional Pediatric Nursing Conference.

Carmela Skomorucha, RN had an abstract for a poster presentation titled, IV Infiltration - Early Recognition, Assessment & Treatment accepted.

Jean Russell, BSN, RN, CRNI, had an abstract for a poster presentation titled, IV Infiltrates, Prevention, Treatment and Resources accepted for the 2011 National Data Base of Nursing Quality Indicators national conference.

Rebecca Schorn, BSN, RN, CCRN, Nurse Clinician Level 4, PICU had two poster abstracts accepted for presentation at the regional pediatric nursing conference, Nursing of Children Network.  The titles are Nursing Education in a Global Context: Teaching PALS to Pediatric Nurses in Uganda and Organization and Adaptation of Pediatric Care in a Disaster: Lessons from a Tent Hospital in Haiti.

Janice Johnson, BSN, RN, CPN, 3E, had an abstract accepted for a poster presentation titled, Using the START report for a SAFER Hand-off at the regional pediatric nursing conference, Nursing of Children Network.
