Pre-Surgical Visit

Keeping Us Informed of Your Child’s Health Status

Within the two weeks prior to your child’s surgery,  it’s important to inform us if your child develops a cold, the flu, fever, rash or any other signs of infection – or is exposed to a communicable disease, such as chicken pox, for example.  If any of these conditions occur, please call the surgeon’s office immediately.  If your surgery is postponed or cancelled, contact your pediatrician’s office

Depending on where your child’s surgery is performed, there are important procedures to follow to prepare for surgery.
