Bioinformatics Core Facility

The Bioinformatics Core Facility (BCF) provides specialized network and computing resources for Nemours Biomedical Research, as well as support and training in experimental design, biostatistics, data analysis, and data management for researchers throughout the Nemours enterprise.
The BCF offers the specialized tools and knowledge required for cutting-edge research at the convergence of information technology with the life sciences.

Presently, the BCF plays an indirect role in patient care by assisting researchers in their work to find underlying mechanisms and causes of human disease. This research may lead to new methods of treatment and diagnosis that will impact patient care.
