Together for Kids was founded in 2007 to provide a national fundraising platform for nonprofit children’s hospitals who work tirelessly to meet the numerous healthcare challenges affecting children.
The national alliance of non-profit members in Together for Kids includes more than 40 freestanding children’s hospitals, including Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children, as well as pediatric teaching hospitals at major universities, pediatric departments within hospitals, and smaller children’s hospitals serving communities of all sizes. These hospitals benefit from being part of a collaborative network of peers sharing best practices to improve care for all of America’s sick and injured children.
Together for Kids is fortunate to have as its spokeperson, Delilah, the most listened-to woman on the radio. The syndicated radio host will help raise money and awareness for duPont Hospital for Children and other Together for Kids hospitals nationwide.
“This partnership presents an opportunity to strengthen the work of Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children with the advanced technology, treatment, education and medical research we need to tackle today’s toughest pediatric issues,” said Paul Kempinski, Chief Operating Officer, Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. “We are delighted to have Delilah join our alliance of children’s hospitals in creating a single voice advocating for children’s health.”
