Jennifer Shroff Pendley

The Society of Pediatric Psychology Board of Directors has announced that the inaugural Co-Editors for its new journal, Clinical Practice in Pediatric Psychology, are Jennifer Shroff Pendley, PhD and Doug Tynan, PhD, of Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children’s Division of Psychology.

This new official journal of the Society of Pediatric Psychology will be published by American Psychological Publications beginning in 2013.

Doug Tynan

For some time, there has been strong interest expressed in complementing the society’s staunch research-based publication with a new journal that was more clinically-oriented. A call for editors went out and was met with applications from several outstanding candidates. Drs. Pendley and Tynan applied as co-editors and succeeded in impressing the Board with their statements of enthusiastic interest and exceptional vision for the new journal. They are currently recruiting an editorial board and associate editors.

Drs. Pendley and Tynan, both Associate Professors of Pediatrics, Jefferson Medical College, feel honored by their selection and its testimony to the strength of the clinical research, publishing and training programs in pediatric psychology at Nemours.
