Participation & Collaboration
We welcome ideas and advice from patients and families about how to best deliver family-centered care. We include you as part of your child's care team — after all, no one knows your child better than you do.
That means asking for your opinions, listening to your concerns, and explaining what's going on (every step of the way) in terms you and your child can understand.
We have a hospital Family Advisory Council that incorporates families' feedback to help improve our care. Various specialties and conditions have their own councils as well (like cystic fibrosis and cancer and blood disorders) so that they can help us offer their children the very best care for their families' very unique needs.
