Pediatric Primary Care Services for Your Family
Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine of Seminole (formerly known as Progressive Pediatrics), in association with Nemours, strives to provide the highest level of pediatric care for our families in a friendly, safe and comfortable environment. We’re part of the Nemours primary care network called the Children’s Health Alliance (CHA), which means our physicians are among some of the most highly-qualified pediatricians in Central Florida.
Located on the South Seminole Hospital campus, we offer comprehensive pediatric medical services, specializing in newborn care, behavioral and developmental health and childhood obesity. This practice also offers the services of an ARNP, LaKoscia D. Harris, CPNP-PC.
Signs, Symptoms and Illnesses We See
In addition to providing well-child, preventive care like immunizations (vaccines) and health screenings, we treat children and adolescents with a variety of common symptoms, illnesses and conditions, such as those listed below.
Does your child have a sore throat or abdominal pain, or a headache that just won’t go away? Review possible causes (and remedies) using the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) symptom checker called KidsDoc.

When Your Child Needs a Specialist
We’re backed by renowned Nemours pediatric specialists who treat nearly every condition at our specialty care outpatient locations throughout Central Florida and at Nemours Children's Hospital in Orlando.
We can also help arrange care with any pediatric specialist of your choice outside of the Nemours Children’s Health System.

Working Together for Kids
Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine of Seminole (formally Progressive Pediatrics) is associated with Nemours, which means we’re part of a primary care network (called the Children’s Health Alliance, or CHA). By being a part of this network, we’re able to give our patients and families added resources for care and education. This doesn’t change the way we operate our practice — it just enhances the care your family receives.
We’ve chosen to associate with Nemours because it's a nationally-recognized children’s health system that provides outstanding pediatric specialty care, research, education and advocacy (being a voice for children’s health issues). We also share the very same commitment to family-centered care — and pride ourselves in treating every child as one of our own.
As part of our family, you will continue to enjoy the same personal care and attention from the Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine of Seminole team. And you can receive referrals to any hospital or specialist of your choice.
