 We are looking forward to you joining us for the 15th Annual Delaware Golf Tournament.

Avid golfers from across the Delaware Valley will enjoy a great day on the greens and a special thank-you gift for their participation in support of the children and families who benefit from the Nemours Children's Health, Delaware Nursing Program. The Tournament will take place at the picturesque DuPont Country Club in Wilmington, Delaware, including breakfast, lunch, refreshments on the course and an awards dinner.

Event Schedule

10:00 a.m.: Registration Opens
Bloody Mary & Mimosa Bar
Breakfast Sandwiches

11:30 a.m.: Shotgun Start Scramble

12:00 p.m.: Lunch on the course

4:00 p.m.: Buffet Dinner with Carving Station, Program & Awards

5:30 p.m. Auction & Raffle Closes

Proceeds benefit the Nemours Children's Nursing Program

At Nemours, our nurses are guardians of children's health and protectors of their joy. In every department, they are on the front lines with each child's family, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Nemours nurses practice a holistic approach with patients, including unmatched clinical care, along with psychological, spiritual, cultural and emotional considerations that go well beyond the focus on disease processes.

Your participation in the 2024 Nemours Children's Health Delaware Golf Tournament will impact this department of highly credentialed and devoted nursing professionals. In addition to their passion for delivering first-class care, Nemours nurses are extremely innovative. Among other first-in-the-nation projects, our Delaware team is piloting a virtual nursing project to support floor nurses by relieving them from time-consuming activities that prevent them from providing one-to-one care.

We are not the only organization that acknowledges our nurses' exceptionalism. Nemours Children's has attained Magnet designation for the third time from the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Magnet Recognition Program, the highest national honor for professional nursing practice. Only 9% of America's 6,000 hospitals have achieved Magnet designation, of which just 4% have achieved Magnet status three times or more.
