Nemours Children's Clinic in Orlando is an operating division of Nemours, a private nonprofit organization, which is the beneficiary of the estates of Alfred I. duPont and Edward Ball. Nemours mission is to enhance the health of children and establish childrens specialty clinics in Florida, Delaware, and other areas. Nemours also operates the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Delaware, and additional Nemours Children's Clinics in Jacksonville, Pensacola, and Wilmington, Delaware.

Over 70,000 children are treated each year by our physicians and medical staff in Florida alone. We approach each childs treatment with the highest standard of medical care. Children are referred to Nemours by pediatricians and family physicians who understand their needs for the care of specialists. Nemours Children's Clinic in Orlando has nearly 60 pediatric subspecialists on staff. These caring doctors are pediatricians and pediatric subspecialists who have completed additional education and training in specific areas. They are supported by a full complement of highly trained support staff and the very latest in medical technology.
How Nemours Works With Others
Nemours Children's Clinic in Orlando is not a hospital and we have no overnight facilities. However, we work with the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children & Women (APH) to provide a continuum of care for the children of our community. This relationship, known as The Children's Health Center, allows Nemours Children's Clinic in Orlando and APH to develop and implement joint programs in medical care, education, and research. Nemours Children's Clinic in Orlando staff members serve as teachers in the Pediatric Residency Program at APH.
How Nemours Works With You
Children are seen by appointment from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Our physicians are on call for our patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our services are covered by most major insurance plans, HMOs, and PPOs, as well as Medicaid.
The Nemours Children's Clinic in Orlando also provides services within the central and south Florida regions. Nemours Children's Clinic in Orlando has satellite clinics located in Melbourne and Cape Canaveral. Our physicians also provide services to the Children's Medical Services (CMS) clinics in Cocoa Beach, Ft. Pierce, and Daytona.
For the families of our patients, there are two facilities that may provide living assistance if you and your child have to stay overnight while visiting Orlando, including the Hubbard House and the Ronald McDonald House.

Nemours provides support for research and educational programs that enable our physicians to teach, share the latest in medical advances with their colleagues, and develop new and better treatments.
