Victor A. Cocowitch

Vic Cocowitch is a leadership and organizational development consultant who for the past 16 years has worked primarily with health care executives in the areas of strategic thinking, organizational change, leadership and team development. Representative clients include NYU Medical Center, Catholic Healthcare West, Alliant Management Services, the UNC School of Public Health, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Vic is currently on the faculty of NTL Institute for Applied Behavioral Sciences, the Center for Creative Leadership, the Federal Executive Institute and the University of North Carolina School of Public Health.

Prior to starting his consulting practice, Vic was a health care executive for 12 years. In this role he worked in medical education, hospitals, and in both staff and IPA model managed care organizations. He received a B.A. in Economics and an MPH from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Certificate in Organizational and Community Systems from Johns Hopkins. He is the author of The Turnaround Imperative: A Leaders Guide for Survival in a Turbulent Health Care Environment and the article "Strategic Management: New Thinking for Healthcare Leaders."
