Yvette Santiago, MS

Yvette Santiago, MS, is Senior Manager for the Community Relations Department. Yvette is responsible for building strategic partnerships and coalitions with identified state and local agencies to include communities, schools, healthcare providers and childcare centers. Although her responsibilities are statewide, her primary focus will be in New Castle County. Yvette was appointed to the Governor's Council on Hispanic Affairs in July 2004 and is an avid spokesperson for the Hispanic community. She comes to NHPS with more than 17 years of experience working with children and families and collaborating with state and local agencies through various positions in community-based organizations, including the Delaware Department of Services for Children, Youth and Their Families, and most recently, the Christina School District. Yvette's experiences include direct care community outreach and implementation of numerous programs, communications, public relations, and education administration.

Yvette received her master's degree in administration and planning with a concentration in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University. She also holds an administrative certification from the Department of Education.
