To promote healthy eating and physical activity in diverse child care settings, Nemours Health and Prevention Services (NHPS) is working in close collaboration with the Delaware early care and education community to:
- Promote policies and practices that encourage healthy eating and physical activity.
- Emphasize that healthy lifestyles start early.
- Provide appropriate educational materials for providers and families.
- Evaluate our efforts and report our results to the community.
The Sesame Street Healthy Habits for Life Child Care Resource Kit is Now Available!
Nemours Health and Prevention Services (NHPS) is excited to share our new toolkit, Healthy Habits for Life, which was created in collaboration with Sesame Street and KidsHealth. This new toolkit provides child care providers with resources to promote healthy eating and physical activity with preschoolers. By helping the children to start these habits now, you are helping them to be healthy for the rest of their lives.
