In the primary care setting, Nemours Health and Prevention Services offers educational opportunities for pediatric primary care providers focused on improving office-based weight management and health promotion skills. Practitioners learn about new interventions and can download materials for use in the office setting.
The Delaware Primary Care Initiative on Childhood Overweight: A Nemours Quality Improvement Initiative has moved into a community engagement phase and will expand its efforts to include more primary care practices. The initiative, started as a research study led by Nemours Health and Prevention Services, now functions as a statewide effort to address the growing epidemic. Learn more>
