Make School a Moving Experience

Make School a Moving Experience

150 Minutes of Physical Activity in the School WeekMake School a Moving Experience was the theme of the NHPS 2009 Wellness Policy Collaborative, held at Polytech High School on June 23. Representatives from 13 school districts were in attendance to learn about best practices and programs for incorporating 150 minutes of physical activity into the school week. Attendees came away with information on successful strategies used in local schools, evidence-based programs that integrate physical activity into academic instruction, and tools for building buy-in with their colleagues. Thank-you to all our district partners for an inspiring and moving day!
