Intravenous Therapy Nursing

A 6 member RN staff that provides 24 hours/7 day week services for IV starts for inpatients & outpatients, difficult lab draws for inpatients, CVC repair and declotting of occluded central venous access devices.  In addition the team has a pediatric PICC program that works collaborative with Interventional Radiology, Child Life and Social Work to provide patient  & family centered care for children who require ongoing infusion therapy.
