Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) lecture series:
Advanced Practice Nurse’s:
The purpose of this lecture series is to provide the advanced practice nurse and the bedside nurse with up-to-date innovative concepts in caring for the pediatric patient. Topics will vary each month, look for monthly postings. The lectures will be held on the 4th Monday of each month from 12 noon to 1PM. Lunch is on your own.
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) lecture series:
The purpose of this lecture series is to increase the knowledge base of the nurses who provide care for patients who are in the PeriAnesthesia area. This lecture series will be held every Wednesday from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM in PACU north. Many lectures will have contact hours provided. This lecture series is open to Nemours employees only.
Emergency Department lecture series:
The purpose of this lecture series is to provide the Emergency Department, Medical Surgical, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and medical/surgical bedside nurses with the most up to date information on caring for the child who has been involved in an emergency, topics will be trauma focused. These lectures will be held in the Emergency Department and are open to all who are interested.
