Educational Allowances may be used for books, work-related clothing, computer equipment, travel, and board exams.

Meals

Lunch is provided free of charge each day at conference. A free meal plan is offered while you are on call, and a monthly stipend is given for meals.

  • Parking at duPont Hospital for Children and Christiana Care is free. Parking at Jefferson is discounted.
  • On-site gym, open 24 hrs, 7 days a week. A personal trainer is also available.

Benefits

As a pediatric anesthesiology fellow, you’ll receive the following from the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care medicine:

  • Office space with personal computer and online access, including access to INFOLINK online library resources and JEFFLINE (Jefferson Medical College Library resources).
  • Laboratory coat.
  • Individual call room when on in-house overnight call.
  • Meal pass when in hospital for overnight call. The cafeteria has night hours for night shift employees.

Time Off

In addition to 4 weeks vacation, the fellow has 5 days of educational conference time with a $1,750 yearly stipend. Additional conference time is available for scholarly presentations upon Department and GME office approval.
