Our clinical mission is to provide cutting-edge, evidenced-based pulmonary care with superior patient outcomes and family satisfaction.
The Division of Pulmonology at Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, DE, provides consultative services to the Neonatal Intensive Care Units at Christiana Care Health System and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, as well as intermittent outpatient services throughout Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.

The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) awarded duPont Hospital for Children the Stage 7 Award.
Stage 7 represents achievement of the highest level on the EMR Adoption ModelSM (EMRAM) – used to track electronic medical record progress at hospitals and health systems. Nemours is one of 59 (or 1.1%) of the more than 5,000 U.S. hospitals in the HIMSS Analytics Database recognized by HIMSS Analytics with its Stage 7 Award.
Nemours also received the HIMSS Davies Award of Excellence for
helping pioneer the use of electronic medical records in pediatric health.
The award recognizes leadership in the implementation and use of health information technology to improve patient care and medical outcomes.
