Practicum Training

The practicum positions are for 9 to 12 months, depending on the needs of the individual practicum student. An additional year of practicum training may be offered to interested students, contingent on faculty approval. There is no stipend available for practicum training. Minimum time commitment for practicum training is 1 day per week (8 hours) although many of our trainees elect to commit to two days per week (16 hours). Practicum students are assigned to one of the 5 core clinical experiences or 3 evaluation rotations. Practicum students are welcome to participate in other educational activities available through the hospital and the Psychology Internship Program including didactic seminars, Ethics Rounds, and Grand Rounds.
