Leave of Absence

Fellows may request time away from the training program for pregnancy, illness, professional development, or for other personal reasons.  Institutional policies and practices regarding leaves of absence are set forth in the employee benefit section of the House Staff Agreement, and the Hospital’s human resources policies.  Fellows will be required to complete the requisite training established by the program requirements and institutional policies in order to receive a certificate of successful completion.
