Residents are asked to participate in Continuous Quality Improvement efforts for the PICU rotation by completing questionnaires and tests, keep track of procedures and primary patient problems encountered during PICU rotation. Residents comply with ACGME resident duty work hour guidelines.

  • Visiting Residents
    • Sign a Confidentiality Policy after reviewing a Visitor Educational Orientation Packet
    • Take a 2-3 hours Cerner Order Entry Training Class
    • Obtain a hospital photo ID at the Personnel Office
    • Obtain Proxy cards to allow entrance to various hospital areas
    • Receive parking permit
    • Complete HIPAA training unless documentation is received from the resident’s primary program
