Consults

Most consults that we would get are for evaluation of a child in fulminant hepatic failure or in need of dialysis access. If you happen to get the call, obtain as much information as you can including the patients name and location and the attending name and let them know we will see the patient immediately. You can then call the attending on-call who will take care of it from there.
