The Division of Neonatology

There are a total of 16 full-time board certified neonatologists in the division, as well as 25 neonatal nurse practitioners, and three research nurses.  There are also numerous support staff in various health care fields (e.g., OT, PT, speech pathologists, respiratory therapists, etc.).

Faculty are also actively involved in teaching residents from the core pediatric program at Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children, Internal Medicine-Pediatric residents from Christiana Hospital, and residents from other disciplines. Medical students from Jefferson Medical College also rotate through the service.
