Allergy/Asthma/Immunology

The Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Division provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment, including clinical evaluation, skin testing, pulmonary function testing and immunologic testing for children with known or suspected allergies, asthma or suspected immune deficiencies. The Division offers pharmacologic treatment, immunotherapy, disease-related counseling, treatment for immune deficiencies, and education related to prevention and control of allergic diseases and asthma by recognition of specific triggers, environmental controls, and management strategies.

  • Clinical evaluation
  • Skin testing
  • Pulmonary function testing
  • Drug and food allergy testing (including specific challenges)
  • Exercise-induced asthma testing (exercise challenges)
  • Drug desensitization
  • Immunologic evaluation
  • Treatment of immune deficiency states

  • Wheezing or asthma
  • Skin rashes (hives and eczema)
  • Nose and eye allergy
  • Drug reactions
  • Exercise intolerance
  • Food reactions
  • Recurring and frequent infections
