General Pediatrics

At Nemours, the Division of General Pediatrics in the Delaware Valley is one of patient care, teaching, and research. Elements of this mission include:

• Providing general pediatric holistic care to children and adolescents, taking into account their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
• Providing both inpatient and outpatient care, with a special focus on the care of under-served children and those with complex medical and emotional needs.
• Providing general pediatric expertise and mentoring to students, the medical community, and the community at large.
• Developing new knowledge through research and publishing, focusing primarily on patient-related research.
• Serving as an advocate for patients as well as the community at large.
