General Pediatrics

At Nemours, the Division of General Pediatrics in the Delaware Valley is one of patient care, teaching, and research. Elements of this mission include:

Providing general pediatric holistic care to children and adolescents, taking into account their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
Providing both inpatient and outpatient care, with a special focus on the care of under-served children and those with complex medical and emotional needs.
Providing general pediatric expertise and mentoring to students, the medical community, and the community at large.
Developing new knowledge through research and publishing, focusing primarily on patient-related research.
Serving as an advocate for patients as well as the community at large.
