Headache Program

As a service of the Neurology Division, the Headache Program provides evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of chronic headaches at both Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital/duPont Children's Health Program. The Headache Program staff conducts a neurological exam and takes a complete medical history to explore the nature, duration, frequency, and possible triggers of headaches. Diagnostic testing helps rule out organic causes.

  • Patient interview
  • General and neurological examination
  • Medical imaging studies as needed
