Lymphedema Program
A multidisciplinary team of specialists treats children with lymphedema, a condition characterized by accumulation of fluid, usually in one or more of the extremities. The Lymphedema Program involves diagnostic tests, including medical imaging studies and Wright linear pump trials (the Wright linear pump is a pump developed for the treatment of lymphedema). The program offers the services of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, General Pediatric Surgery, Medical Imaging, Genetics, Urology, Orthopedics, Nursing, and Behavioral Health. Other subspecialists are consulted as needed.
