Muscle Respiratory Clinic
A service of the Division of Pulmonary Medicine the Muscle-Respiratory Clinic is a multidisciplinary program designed for the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of respiratory illnesses associated with neuromuscular disorders such as spinal muscular atrophy, Duchenne muscular dystrophy, congenital muscular dystrophy, and Friedreichs ataxia. The clinic meets concurrently with the Muscle Disorders Program so patients can see a team of doctors in one afternoon. The clinic meets the second, third, and fourth Fridays of each month.
Physicians at the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children are specially trained and are dedicated to providing the highest level of pediatric care to children. The Division of Pulmonary Medicine and the Muscle-Respiratory Clinic use the most up-to-date and innovative techniques available.
