Respiratory Care
Respiratory Care Services provides a medical support team skilled in the treatment of pediatric patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. Registered and certified respiratory care practitioners administer the service under the leadership of pediatric pulmonologists, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and critical care specialists. The Respiratory Care staff provides a variety of services, including the therapeutic use of medical gases, ventilatory support, aerosol medication treatment, pulmonary function testing, and patient/parent home care education. Respiratory Care Services also supports the hospital's Allergy/Asthma and Cystic Fibrosis programs.
