Our subspecialty team of pediatric orthopedic spinal surgeons have dedicated their careers to the treatment of spinal disorders in children, and are actively involved in research, technology advancement, and teaching of future orthopedic surgeons. We take the time to explain the diagnosis and treatment in easy terms you can understand, present all the alternatives, and invite your familys input into the treatment plan for your child.

The multi-specialty approach of the Spine and Scoliosis Center would not be possible without the talent and expertise of our dedicated neurosurgeons, rehabilitation physicians, radiologists, nurses, physical therapists, orthotists, and neurophysiologists.

We are a national leader in the non-operative treatment of scoliosis with the Wilmington brace to control curve progression. Our certified orthotists, with over 75 years combined experience, can fabricate a custom brace for your child on the day it is prescribed by our physicians.

Our operating rooms are staffed by experienced nurses, pediatric anesthesiologists, and neurophysiologists, who ensure that your childs surgical procedure, if necessary, will procede safely and efficiently. The newly renovated surgical suite is equipped with the latest technological advances, including endoscopy and surgical navigation, which allow us to perform minimally invasive procedures, including anterior thoracoscopic spinal fusion and instrumentation, and endoscopic spinal biopsy or diskectomy.
