Since our founding in 1940, the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children has served thousands of children from across the country and around the world. The hospital is a division of Nemours, which operates one of the nations largest health systems devoted to pediatric patient care, teaching, and research. Located just outside of Wilmington, Delaware, on 300 acres of parkland, the hospital offers a remarkably beautiful and tranquil setting in which to heal.
