Tuberculosis Clinic
The Tuberculosis Clinic, a service of the Division of Pulmonary Medicine, evaluates, diagnoses, and treats children with a positive tuberculin skin test reaction and/or tuberculosis. The clinic meets every fourth Monday of each month at the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children.
Physicians at the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children are specially trained and are dedicated to providing the highest level of pediatric care to children. The Division of Pulmonary Medicine and the Tuberculosis Clinic use the most up-to-date and innovative techniques available.
Typical Diagnoses/Problems:
- Positive tuberculin skin test reaction
- Tuberculosis
Services Available:
- Mantoux tuberculin skin testing with PPD
- Chest X-rays
