5K and One-Mile Fun Run

This family-friendly event includes a 5K and a One-Mile Fun Run kicking off at the Nemours Children’s Health clinic in downtown Jacksonville. The course will take runners, walkers, and wheelchair athletes through a scenic route along the St. Johns River and the beautiful neighborhoods of San Marco.

Proceeds from the event will support the Nemours Children's Health, Jacksonville  Compassionate Care Fund, which restores the health of critically ill and injured children wherever the need is greatest. However, teams and individuals that raise $5,000 or more can designate their funds to support a department of their choice at Nemours Children's Health, Jacksonville.

Participants of all ages will enjoy activities in the Runner’s Village, including music courtesy of our energetic DJ, sponsor booths, an exciting Kid Zone with games and inflatables, mascots, photo opportunities, food, and refreshments.

We expect 1,000 runners, walkers, wheelchair athletes and their cheerleaders to join us. We  hope to see you there! Individuals and teams are welcome. Please note: All 5K and One-mile Fun Run participants will receive a finishers medal, race shirt and bib. Only 5K participants will receive a bib with a timing chip.

Please note: early bird registration closes on Friday, August 15, at 5 p.m.

5K early bird fee: $20

August 15 — November 21:

5K: $30

November 22 (on-site) registration:

5K: $35

 

Race Schedule:

8 - 8:45 a.m.: On-site registration 

9 a.m.: 5K and One-Mile Fun Run start 

9:45 a.m.: Stage announcements and awards ceremony 

11 a.m.: Event concludes. Thanks for your support!

All proceeds will benefit our Compassionate Care Fund in Jacksonville. As the central part of our mission, we offer children the highest quality care and experience wherever the need is greatest. Support from the fund is vital to serving patients’ physical and psychosocial needs throughout their medical journeys.
