Expansion Updates

Facility and parking changes that may affect your visit.

Expansion Noise and Vibrations Advisory
Construction noise and vibrations in areas of the hospital building that connect with the Expansion are expected to continue between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday–Friday. Drilling, hammering, welding, pouring and removing of concrete, steel installation and slab floor edge work is all being done in preparation for breaking through to the Expansion.

The areas of the hospital impacted include:

  • first floor: cafeteria, volunteer's office and the gift shop
  • second floor: pre-surgery and the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) rooms located closest to the Expansion walkway connection
  • third floor: 3E Unit (the first three patient rooms) and 3F Unit (the first two patient rooms)

We apologize for the noise or disturbances during this phase of construction. We appreciate your flexibility, patience and support as we continue to build a healthier future for our children.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact any of our Associates or anyone on your child’s care team.
