Located across from the Wegman’s Concordville store in the new Brandywine Mills Shopping Center on US 202, south of US 1, we're just five minutes from the Delaware state border.

At Nemours duPont Pediatrics, Glen Mills, our comprehensive program includes pediatric care from Nemours specialists in:

In support of the Concussion Program, we have specialists available for consultation if needed: 

  • neuropsychology
  • rehabilitation medicine

Medical Imaging

We offer onsite noninvasive tests (when no instrument is inserted inside
the body):

  • X-ray — a simple, painless test that uses a small amount of radiation to take pictures of the bones and internal organs
  • echocardiography (or “echo” for short) — a specialized form of ultrasound that uses sound waves to build a picture of the heart (an “echocardiogram”)
  • electroencephalogram (EEG) — a test that measures and records the brain’s electrical activity
  • electromyography (EMG) — a test that records muscles’ electrical activity
 
Cardiology

Cardiologists from the Nemours Cardiac Center at Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children offer a range of cardiac medical services:

  • diagnosis of heart conditions and congenital heart defects
  • follow-up care
  • preventive cardiology to help your child avoid cardiac conditions 

Our office also is equipped for select cardiac diagnostic tests:

  • echocardiography (or “echo” for short) — a specialized form of ultrasound that uses sound waves to build a picture of the heart (an “echocardiogram”)
  • electrocardiogram (also called an “EKG” or “ECG”) — a completely painless test that uses a series of electrodes (small sticky tabs) to measure the heart’s electrical activity
  • rhythm monitoring — which can include wearable Holter monitors and blood pressure monitors
 
Urology

Pediatric urologists from Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children come to Nemours duPont Pediatrics, Glen Mills to diagnose and treat conditions affecting the reproductive system and urinary tract.

 
Integrative Health and Wellness
Call for hours

Pediatric integrative medicine blends traditional and complementary (or holistic) medical therapies to care for the whole child (body, mind and spirit). Modalities such as acupuncture, healing touch, massage, yoga, mindfulness stress reduction and aromatherapy can be an integral part of a treatment plan that address a child's physical and emotional well-being. At this time, we offer Healing Touch and Massage Therapy services at our Glen Mills site. Additional services will be added in the future.

Making an Appointment

Nemours duPont Pediatrics, Glen Mills sees patients who are referred to us by primary care family physicians, pediatricians and referring specialists.

With a referral, you can make an appointment with us in a few different ways:
  • call us directly
  • ask your physician to call us
  • have your physician to send an electronic referral (eReferral), and we’ll call you

When you call to make your appointment, we’ll first preregister your child, collecting information such as:

  • your child’s name and address
  • date of birth
  • parent phone numbers (home and cell)
  • primary care physician/referring physician contact information (if needed)
  • pharmacy preference
  • insurance information (including Medicaid or other assistance programs)

At Your Appointment

Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment so we have plenty of time to register your child in our system.

 
What to Bring
  • photo ID
  • medical and pharmacy insurance cards
  • preferred pharmacy name and phone number
  • names and dosage of all medications, including over-the-counter medication, your child is currently taking
  • guardianship and custody papers, if a legal guardian rather than a parent accompanies your child
