Collaborating for Kids
Nemours collaborates with Paoli Hospital (part of the Main Line Health system) to extend advanced round-the-clock pediatric care to children and families in Paoli, Malvern, and the surrounding communities.
Children are different from adults and need specialized care, so Nemours’neonatal specialists are there for families at Paoli Hospital to provide advanced care to premature, high-risk, and critically ill infants in the hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Working alongside the Paoli staff, our neonatology team is complemented by the hospital’s highly trained nursing staff, pharmacists, rehabilitation therapists, respiratory therapists, and social workers.
Nemours and Paoli also work together to:
- Coordinate care, when needed, with our specialists at Nemours duPont Pediatrics, Newtown Square and Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, DE
- Facilitate the transfer of extremely ill patients to duPont Hospital for Children
