Dr. Mitchell Austin Joins Nemours Division of Otolaryngology

Orlando, FL - Nemours Children's Clinic, a division of one of the nation's largest children's health systems, announced that Mitchell Byrne Austin, MD has joined the Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology and began seeing patients on June 15, 2007.

The otolayrngology division specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of ear, nose, throat, head, neck, airway, and sinus disorders in infants, children and adolescents.  Dr. Austin will be joing Dr. David Moser at the Orlando Children's Clinic to provide this specialized care for children in the metropolitan area.

Dr. Austin comes to Nemours from his current position with the Medical College of Georgia where he has worked since 2000 as director of the Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology and associate professor.  He received his subspecialty training in pediatric otolaryngology at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and Pediatric Otolaryngology, the Society for Ear, Nose and Throat Advances in Children, and the American Rhinological Society, among others.
