Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children Bring Expanded Outpatient Pediatric Specialty Care to Newtown Square

Newtown Square, PA - Nemours and the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children recently announced the opening of the Nemours Children’s Clinic Newtown Square, located at 3855 West Chester Pike within the Bryn Mawr Hospital Health Center in Newtown Square, PA. The new 8,000 square-foot facility represents a $1.2 million investment in expanded pediatric specialty care in Newtown Square and the surrounding community.
“Nemours, in partnership with Bryn Mawr Hospital and Main Line Health, is committed to the Delaware Valley community and to the Newtown Square Clinic,” stated Bernard J. Clark III, MD, chief executive of the practice, Nemours Children’s Clinic - Delaware Valley. “We’re pleased to bring multi-specialty services to children and families in their community through convenient and streamlined care.”
The new facility offers a dozen specialties and more than 20 Nemours specialists for convenient and collaborative patient care. Specifically, the clinic features medical services including cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, hematology/oncology, neurology, pulmonary and weight management, and surgical services including general surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics, otolaryngology and urology. Among other benefits, the partnership with the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children brings the hospital’s pediatric audiologists on-site to provide a range of diagnostic evaluation and hearing screening services.
“We’re pleased to meet the health care needs of children in the Main Line communities through the expertise of pediatric specialists from Nemours and the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children, combined with the resources of Bryn Mawr Hospital,” stated Andrea Gilbert, president of Bryn Mawr Hospital.
Additional features of the Nemours Children’s Clinic Newtown Square include:
- A streamlined check-in and check-out process, including pre-registration designed to minimize appointment wait time.
- On-site state-of-the-art equipment including two fully-equipped audiology booths, EKG and echocardiography services.
- Two fully-equipped vital sign rooms and thirteen exam rooms including four ENT dedicated rooms and two procedure rooms.
- Additional on-site services provided through Bryn Mawr Hospital Health Center including laboratory, imaging and pediatric rehabilitation services.
