“If you or a loved one needed a doctor in your specialty, to whom would you refer them?”

This is the question asked to 50,000 specialists from more than 30 countries around the world. Only those physicians who earned the consensus support of their peers were included in the listing of the Best Doctors in America®. 153 Nemours physicians (85 from the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children and 68 from Nemours Children’s Clinic - Florida) have been selected for inclusion in, Best Doctors in America® database 2007-2008.

The current listing of the Best Doctors in America® physicians, is the result of continual surveys undertaken by Best Doctors®, Inc., the preeminent provider of information about the best medical care available. Best Doctors®, Inc. goes through extraordinary lengths to ensure the credibility and comprehensiveness of their database of best doctors.

Listings cannot be bought. For this reason, inclusion in Best Doctors in America® is considered a singular honor. “This list represents a sampling of the extraordinary level of medical care offered by Nemours, and we are honored that so many physicians were recognized as Best Doctors. It is gratifying to know that our doctors’ skills are appreciated, not only by our patients and families, but by other physicians as well,” says David Bailey, MD, MBA, CEO and President of Nemours.
