Nemours Children's Clinic In Daytona & Viera Closed August 19-20 Due To Tropical Storm Fay

The downtown Orlando main campus and Lake Mary satellite to remain open

Tropical StormDue to the potential for poor weather conditions associated with Tropical Storm Fay, Nemours Children’s Clinics in Daytona Beach and Viera will be closed Tuesday, August 19 and Wednesday, August 20. The main campus located in downtown Orlando as well as the Lake Mary satellite clinic will remain open until further notice.

Nemours Children’s Clinics in Daytona Beach and Viera will NOT see any patients on these dates. Parents of children being treated by Nemours at these locations are encouraged to call the clinic beginning Thursday, August 21 to reschedule appointments and surgeries. The main number for Nemours Children’s Clinic is (407) 650-7000 or (800) SOS-KIDS for those living outside of the local calling area.

As we try to meet the needs of our patients, Nemours will continue to monitor current weather conditions and reassess the possibility of closing the Orlando main campus and Lake Mary satellite office this afternoon.
