Nemours, one of the nation’s premier pediatric health systems, today announced that its strategic brand building campaign received 11 awards in the 27th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards sponsored by the Healthcare Marketing Report. The competition is a nationally respected program designed to recognize outstanding initiatives in healthcare marketing and advertising. Nemours’ entries were selected from over 4,000 entries in this year’s selection process of the largest healthcare advertising competition of its kind.
“We are pleased to be selected from among a strong field of health care marketers and advertisers from around the country,” said Patrick McCabe, managing director of the Nemours Marketing and Communication Department. “We are confident that we have created a branding initiative that honors the legacy of our founder, Alfred I. duPont, while definitively expressing our national leadership in children’s health and the role we play in improving the lives of children everyday.”
The Nemours branding initiative was brought to life throughout the organization during 2008 in a variety of creative ways that focused on brand awareness and articulated how the organization best served patient families, referring physicians, communities and those who share Nemours’ commitment to improving the health of children. The campaign was continued in 2009 by expanding branded marketing communications and completely redesigning the Nemours.org web site to be more family friendly.
According to the Healthcare Marketing Report’s Web site, this annual marketing awards program is the largest and oldest competition of its kind. All of this year’s entries were reviewed by a national panel of judges based on quality, creativity, consumer appeal, message effectiveness, graphic design and overall impact.
Nemours received awards for various areas of the campaign including radio commercials, newspaper ads, collateral materials, Nemours’ annual report as well as internal employee communications. For a complete listing of Nemours’ awards please visit www.hmrpublicationsgroup.com.
