Wilmington, DE – California Pizza Kitchen (CPK), home of innovative hearth-baked pizzas and other delicious items, opened its first Delaware location at the Christiana Mall in July. Following the CPK tradition of giving back to the communities in which it operates, the new restaurant donated 100% of all dine-in pizza sales from August 2, 2010, to the Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, DE. The donation totaled nearly $5,000. On Tuesday, August 10, representatives of CPK delivered pizza, salad and desserts for the enjoyment of children, families and staff in the hospital’s Child Life Center.
